"World Vision and the World Vision logo are licensed trademarks of World Vision" World Vision’s U.S. programs help children, families, and communities to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice. Years of research show that children living in poverty are more likely to underachieve in school, experience health and behavioral problems, and remain in poverty for another generation. World Vision serves those vulnerable youth through programs that empower young people. We also help struggling students receive free tutoring from trained volunteers, expand the capacity of child-focused organizations already serving in communities, and distribute critical gift-in-kind products. The Road Home is a private non-profit social services agency that assists individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Salt Lake County and along the Wasatch Front.

The Road Home provides emergency shelter and personalized case management to help people identify and overcome the obstacles that have led them to becoming homeless. In addition to operating the largest shelter in Utah, we also address a spectrum of needs that people experiencing homelessness encounter from supplying a bus token to providing comprehensive housing programs that help people move into permanent housing as quickly as possible.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Intermountain Area provides a temporary home-away-from-home that serves and sustains families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at area hospitals, as well as providing support to other programs that assist children in our community. Children heal faster and cope better when surrounded by their loved ones. You can help children heal today. We have been helping families for over 20 years since a group of community leaders came together to open the Ronald McDonald House in Salt Lake City in 1988. McDonald's is a partner in care and provides, through local donations, approximately 15% of our operating budget. The other 85% comes from gifts from individuals, corporations, organizations and foundations who support our mission. We have gifts from children who collect pennies with their class, gifts from individuals who create their own fundraising pages, annual donations from committed supporters, and gifts of all sizes, from $5.00 to $100,000. Your donation will most likely fall in that category somewhere! Give generously today so that we can continue to open our doors to thousands more families for years to come.
